OSP Pedals for Charity
OSP Architecture are delighted to have supported Farnham Rotary Club in their annual Charity Cyclathon event, held at the Farnham Maltings on Saturday 25th February 2017. Teams of four cycle for 50 minutes on a static exercise bike, with time slots available from 8am to 8pm. This year, 38 teams took part throughout the day, all raising money for the UK and international charities supported by Rotary.
The OSP team consisted of Caroline Lozynskyj, Telisa Whishaw, Mark Evans and James Whelan (an OSP client).
With bikes set to a standard, low resistance, it’s all about spinning your legs as fast as you can for your 12.5 minute slot. Team OSP all put in a sterling effort and managed to log a total of 32.45 kilometres over the 50 minutes, with a particular mention to James who managed a fantastic individual score of 9.5 kilometres – one of the top scores of the day.
When all was done and dusted, we were delighted to have secured third place overall, finishing closely behind Phyllis Tuckwell (one of our Clients so good to see them do well with 33.94km) and the winners, Barley Mow 1, with a superb total of 36.40km.
A great cause and a great effort from the team – thank you again!
